"Santa Maria is a stunning property in a beautiful & quiet location ideally situated for Orvieto. The apartment was comfortable & well equipped. The owners were most helpful & pleasant. We loved their collection of animals: 2 friendly dogs & an assortment of cats & peacocks. We also enjoyed being able to pick vegetables from the owner’s garden. The swimming pool was wonderful. A very enjoyable stay."

"A wonderfully peaceful location. The estate is surrounded by stunning grounds and gracefully kept gardens. Peacocks, cats and 2 dogs live here in harmony and were gentle companions. The pool is wonderful and we managed to blend reading, swimming and relaxation with visits to local villages and Orvieto. Our host was helpful and friendly."

"Lovely helpful staff, remarkable building with the best possible views looking down at Orvieto and the famous Cathedral. Stay here and simply drive in to see the town. Outside breakfast and other meal views are exceptional. Dinner recommendations are excellent. Return for us is likely!"
