Nice family operated hotel and restaurant. Food at restaurant was contemporary take on local food. Room was clean functional and cool. The area is relatively quiet even for late September.

There are no words to describe our stay at Il Cefalo other than it felt like paradise on earth!!! The history of the place won my heart, from humble beginnings in the 60’s to now being truly a stunning boutique hotel managed by the grandchildren. The staff were very helpful and so friendly, especially Sylvia and Christian. The food was amazing, the views were breathtaking, I would give this beautiful place all 5 stars and more if possible!!

I'm reluctant to review our experience to keep this magical place to ourselves, and for fear that it will change. Nicole, Luigi, Guisepi, Michelo, and the rest of the staff/family including Noah the dog, made our stay at Il Cefalo truly enchanting. We coincided with the Festa della Bruna, which took place at the small village church which is only 50 meters away creating the perfect vantage point to take in the festivities ending with the most spectacular fireworks we've ever seen. We loved our stay, the wonderful variety of delicious food, the incredible views, and again, the impeccable service. We very much look forward to being back with our friends at Il Cefalo very soon. Grazie mille per essere stato così gentile con la mia famiglia. Un abbraccio enorme a tutti!

Check in was awesome. Guiseppe was Great. Hotel was clean and well maintained. A little overpriced. The food was OK but Very expensive and the wait staff certainly didn't seem too attentive. Beautiful View. Don't be fooled into thinking they sare the only dining option. There are a few others close by, More affordable with more choices.

This place is special. Nicole, Michele, Luigi and the rest of the family made this one of the most special vacations we’ve had. As a local said to us. it’s Amalfi 30 years ago. The place is charming in a way that can only come from the authentic hospitality. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Posizione e vista stupenda. Personale supercordiale. Colazione eccellente, ristorante e vini di altissimo livello. Mare pulitissimo e cristallino con un sacco di pesci che nuotano con te. Personale meraviglioso. Sembrava di essere in famiglia. Assolutamente consigliato.

Voor het eerst in Italië en zijn werkelijk verliefd geworden op alles wat je kan zien. De taal barrière is wel iets waar je rekening mee moet houden … ook moet je er niet vanuit gaan dat de strandbedjes gratis zijn. Was geen leuke verassing na 5 dagen verblijf om die alsnog te moeten betalen. Misschien ook deels eigen schuld hadden het moeten vragen maar je verwacht van een hotel dat de dit soort dingen wel van te voeren met je communicieren wijze les moment voor ons … neemt niet weg dat het hotel zelf en vooral ook de kleine supermarkt die bij het hotel is geweldig zijn

Es war ein fantastischer Urlaub: Das Hotel liegt in einer außergewöhnlichen Lage, und das gesamte Hotelteam ist sehr professionell und freundlich. Meine Frau und ich wurden in diesem Hotel erstklassig behandelt. Ich komme nächstes Jahr wieder und werde es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Hotel praticamente sulla spiaggia, piccolo, carino e con personale efficiente e simpatico, ottimo il ristorante….la spiaggia e il mare…. Un hotel dove uno si dimentica della macchina….la riprendi alla partenza o quando vuoi visitare i paesi vicini che sono meravigliosi.

Fantastisk

Det var dog et vidunderligt hotel. Der er bare 14 værelser og hotellet ligger direkte til stranden. Der er en hyggelig og familiær atmosfære. Vi kommer gerne igen og foretrækker dette sted frem for turistmagneten på Amalfi kysten.

The property and location were great and the staff in the restaurant were lovely along with the food. Unfortunately, the staff at reception were not very accommodating. The room was small and was one of the more outdated ones, but it was functional and comfortable enough for a couple of nights.
