"The apartment is in a great central location - on a piazza with a couple of cafe's outside and above a bistro. Easy access to all the sights of the Sassi and Matera, and of course more cafe's and restaurants less than 10 mins walk. Very centrally located for dining out and getting home after a day of sightseeing. Alberto was a great host - his wife would leave us cakes and focaccia while Alberto made sure we were stocked up for the week with pastries for breakfast and housekeeper who kept us...

"This is an incredible place to stay! It is slightly outside of the main tourist town, and a great base in which to see northern Puglia and the Trulli gives you an authentic and unique experience. "This lovely old property on the beach was as advertised. It is spacious and well appointed. All the appliances worked well. Our host Florinda was very gracious and helpful. The property has a beach to walk to and also miles of free beaches and lidos down the coast which we visited. As most apartments we have found with high ceilings, there were no reading lights in the lounge. Extremely clean."

"All we can say is that the pictures looked great and cozy but the actual location is far more impressive being located right next to the 2nd most important church in Taranto. "Conveniently located just a short walk from the entrance to the Sassi. Many restaurants and cafes there. Street parking available on street in front of apartment. Only problem was that WiFi did not work. Fortunately, our phones are on an unlimited data plan."

"Funktionelle Unterkunft, nur ca. 350m zur Piazza Vittorio Veneto. In der Unterkunft ist alles vorhanden, bei Ankunft erhielten wir von Prospero und seinem Sohn viele nützliche Informationen. "Can I award 10 stars? 100? This was without doubt the absolute best VRBO experience we have ever had, and we have rented probably 100+ VRBO properties over the years all over Europe and Italy. "This was a perfect apartment. Very clean and spacious. Right in the middle of town. Our host was very helpful and prompt reply when needed. We absolutely loved Alberobello. Die Apartments sind groß und wir hatten auch eine wunderschöne große Loggia, die wir sehr genossen haben. Allerdings sind die Apartments nicht besonders schön eingerichtet, und bei uns kam auch der Putz von der Schlafzimmerwand. "My daughter and I stayed here in May 2024. We absolutely loved this property! The property is beautiful and unique! There are underground cisterns to explore. There is a live piano player at breakfast. Breakfast is delicious! Our room was beautiful. It was the first time I ever arrived to my hotel room with a lit candle!! Beautiful! The property location was perfect for us. It was convienent to park outside of the sassi in a garage and be picked up by shuttle. The hotel is on a great street with restaurant options and a minutes walk to a plaza right at the rim of the “Grand Canyon”. The staff was absolutely amazing, even the owner’s dog made an appearance at breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel!! "
