"This place was such a disappointment. It is well-situated in the old, beautiful part of Lecce, but it is poorly cared-for. The floor was dirty when we arrived, and somebody left a cigarette on the nightstand. There were stains on the headboard (from people's heads, I guess), which was pretty gross. The apartment is very convenient to the train station and bus stop and within walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets.
