"We found the place unique and loved it for that. An apartment in an old building with great character. We did find it a little dark but otherwise it met our needs for our stay. It was well located and large in size so plenty of room for our things without tripping over them. It was a surprise to have a daily service ensuring we always had towels and supplies. "The property is not as advertised! We were booked for a 3 night stay and advised property manager that we were going to check out after 2 hours. The property is advertised as 2 bedroom, but its actually a 1 bedroom with a sitting area. Its not well stocked for a stay i.e. one wine glass. The kitchen is a fridge and a hot plate. The toilet handle is broken and U have to fiddle with it to make it flush. We asked for 1 night back and we were told no, only to see it advertised again the next day...

"We stayed for 11 days in this spacious apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lecce. Located just a few steps from the Duomo, it has everything you need. I would highly recommend it. We were surprised however about the 65 steps up to the front door. We are reasonably fit retirees but I think guests need to be warned about the staircase, especially with luggage. However we didn’t let this spoil our holiday."

"The apartment is well laid out and is very comfortable. Parking is right outside the apartment door (with a pass from Giulio) Lecce is a baroque city and a great location for day trips around the Salento. We had a fabulous time. Giulio was terrific. We loved the apartment and we loved the location. Two blocks (5 minutes) from the old city so close enough to walk and explore the old city at any time but far enough away to be quiet and restful at night. We highly recommend the apartment."

"Having a car, this was very convenient to stay outside of the walls in order to avoid tight streets and traffic but still close enough to walk to (about 8 minutes). Parking on the street was free which was great as long as you can find a spot. "Really a terrific place to stay. Simple, efficient, well run, clean and an extremely helpful staff. The staff helped my daughter and I with great suggestions for day trips to nearby towns and beaches, including restaurant recommendations and useful tips on routes, etc. Breakfasts were great. Parking was very convenient and reasonably priced for the convenience of having a dedicated spot rather than constantly searching for street parking and having to pay. I saw some reviews mentioning sound from the bar in the evening but we experienced nearly complete silence in our 2nd floor room. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the region."
