This castle hotel was like a dream come true in the heart of Chianti Region The restaurant on site was simply delicious, the wine tour was very enjoyable on their own property. Every staff member we met showed wonderful hospitality Extremely charming with the best views around.

Absolutely blown away by everything at this property. The accommodations were luxurious. The food amazing and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly warm and willing to accommodate our every need. The view was one out of a painting. Gorgeous place. We had beautifully restful stay here and hope to come back. Do the wine tasting and the cooking class. All top notch.

Too notch in every regard. I’ve only ever stayed in one place as good as this and paid 3x the price. Staff went above and beyond. Food was superb. Wine tour and tasting were both excellent. Room was beautiful. Bed was comfy and everything about the hotel Is luxurious. The castle and surrounding area ilare exquisite. You just can’t go wrong here. Would recommend a 2 night minimum to benefit from all this place has to offer.

What a beautiful property!!!! Loved our stay! Would do it all over again! The restaurant also had amazing food and wine! We didn’t get to do the wine tour because the somalier was hospitalized, but we got to do the wine tasting with our dinner! Five starts!!!

Highly, highly, highly recommend this property. Staff is excellent and very friendly and the atmosphere is very romantic and relaxing. Food and vine on the property was great although the lunch options were a bit limited but still very good. The rooms are very spacious and clean as well as the bathrooms. The property is absolutely gorgeous with very scenic surroundings. Also recommend the wine tour on the property if you have the chance to do that. Siena is a quick 15-20 minute drive too. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Tuscany!

Great experience!

Great experience! It's a very calm and quite hotel perfect if you are looking to get some reast at the pool of if you love wine and food. The wine tasting is definitely recommend. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody.

It’s a very classy place. Rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with state-of-the-art AC systems. The place is also a winery, and they offer free wine tasting tours. It’s in the center of the Chianti region, and the red wine is superb! Service is also exquisite, staff goes out of their way to meet the guests’ needs. Siena and San Gimignano are within 30-40 minutes driving.

This is a beautiful property with well trained staff that create a welcome atmosphere to all. It’s obvious they like to work here and go above and beyond to make each guest’s stay special. we stayed longer than we planned to enjoy our time in this area of Tuscany and at the resort. The owners have some a wonderful job of creating such a lovely property. It was great to see the wine vineyards and olive tree groves. We also spent time at the spa, hiked the trails through the 170 acres, and watched the sun rise and set. We plan to be back again next year.

Dreaming of going back to La Leccia!!!! The staff super friendly, the breakfast delicious and super complete, the room was very spacious and smelled delicous they had Dr. Vranjes france in the shower. The views were spectacular!!!, 35 minute drive to San Gimignano and 35 minute drive to Siena, 5 minute drive to Castellina in Chianti. Super lovely Castello!!! I really hope I can come back.

A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. We arranged a vespa rental and rode through the countryside to the nearby Castellina in Chianti and cute hilltop town and took a wonderful cooking class at Taverna Squarcialupi. The restaurant on site is also lovely, the staff friendly and helpful. Love this place! Also a pool for warmer weather (it was a bit cold in mid October) and hiking which we would have done if we stayed even one additional night.

A Magical Stay in the Heart of Chianti

Our stay at Castello La Leccia was absolutely magical. The property feels like a dream — perched on a hill with panoramic views of the Chianti countryside, vineyards, and rolling hills. The castle has been beautifully restored, blending historic charm with modern comforts, and every corner is full of character. The staff were exceptional — warm, welcoming, and attentive. A special shoutout to Sara, Martina, and the Chef, who took personal care of us and made our stay unforgettable. The restaurant was a highlight; every meal was thoughtfully prepared with fresh, local ingredients and paired perfectly with their wines. Dining on the terrace while watching the sunset was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The pool overlooking the vineyards was serene, and the location made it easy to explore nearby towns while still feeling peaceful and secluded when back at the property. The only small feedback we’d share is about the mattress in our room, which felt like it was sinking. Improving this would make the stay flawless. Overall, Castello La Leccia is a true gem in Chianti — a perfect mix of history, luxury, and authentic Tuscan hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

Once in a lifetime experience and memory

Words can barely convey how incredible, breathtaking and memorable our stay was here. La Leccia is absolutely stunning and the property looks like a Tuscan watercolor painting. The service was 5-star and the room was gorgeous. Newly engaged, my fiancé and I took part in the wine tasting/tour and even booked a cooking class. In addition to leaving this amazing castle with two cases of wine and olive oil in tow, we both agreed that the cooking class was a “once in a lifetime”‘experience. We made a wonderful Tuscan ravioli lunch and tiramisu (recipes in hand now.) the breakfast every morning was absolutely wonderful and we have agreed to visit every year on our anniversary. Hard to put into words how incredibly grateful and thankful we are for the amazing experience and hospitality. If you want an amazing experience to remember for decades, don’t hesitate booking a room in this castle vineyard. You’ll fall in love, we did.

From the front desk staff, to the bartender, to the dining staff - everyone was kind and willing to help. The room was clean and had a great view (Room 1). We didn’t get a chance to do the wine experience but heard nothing but good things from other guests. Definitely a place to go
