"When checked in - both rooms were super small with many deficiencies - they were dirty, main light did not work , handles on dresser was broken , we were given small towels (did not know until the next day that they actually have large towels). We were moved the next morning to better and bigger rooms which were much more convenient. However , these rooms were also not cleaned properly. A dead bug remained in the floor for our whole stay. We loved our stay at Locanda, although i must say that dinner is very expensive with dishes that we didn't like. So we chose even not continue to the breakfast. "We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside. Went to Siena, Firenze and San Gimignano and walked to the abbey of San Galgano. The house is spacious with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is equipped with plenty of towels. We had the (guilty) pleasure of the pool with a great view and used the outside dining area a lot. Tip: An extra cutting board and...
