"Really great property and enjoyed our visit at the Mazzarò Sea Palace. Big shout out to Carmen from housekeeping that took extra good care of us and Salvatore on the beach who made things perfect! Loved the place so much! One thing I think people should know about when you travel to nice hotels in Sicily and this one in particular. They now add 15% gratuity and mention it as optional if you eat at the restaurants. Additionally, upon check out, they sum up a tip of 5 percent of total bill for a tip for all the staff. In essence you tip on top of tips. You can opt out of that or select another amount but it would be great if it was advised upfront as I’ve grown accustomed to tipping staff directly or house keeping directly. One then finds themself tipping at lunch/dinner then again having an amount pegged at end of stay by the property. They then tell you it’s optional. Not sure if the staff receives or if it goes to the top of the chain. Overall great stay but people should know about gratuity being baked in or proposed in final bill. "

"The indoor areas could do with modernisation but the beach and pool areas were superb. The staff were excellent, will definitely stay again."

"Had a lovely 4 night trip on my own. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast buffet with views over water. Convenient location for bus station and a short walk up to historic town. I would stay here again. Only small thing to be aware of is the lifts in the building stop inbetween floors, so as long as you can carry your luggage up/down some steps you are fine to stay here."

"This hotel was beautiful. All the rooms had sea views. There was a private beach. The hotel had a large outdoor sitting area with drinks and coffee service, there was also a large indoor seating area as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Perfecto. Great hotel and staff with impeccable service throughout. The hospitality is generous and nothing is too much trouble. The shuttle service is so useful in to Taormina and was never full. The breakfast is plentiful and the setting idyllic. The pool is so wonderful and never busy. Great fitness room with phenomenal views. Exceptional in so many ways. "
