"Fantastic villa in a beautiful and peaceful location with easy access to supermarkets and restaurants. Claire and Kieran have put a lot of time and love into ensuring their guests have well-equipped and beautiful surroundings. They are amazing hosts ensuring you have a relaxing holiday. The kitchen has everything you need and plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses, cups and utensils to enable large groups to be catered for with ease. Lots of fridge and freezer space and lovely areas to eat and socialise both inside and out! Two BBQs made cooking outside easy and 8 bedrooms with quality bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay for the whole group. We were aged from 5 to 87 and everyone had a wonderful time. We were able to socialise and find quiet spaces in the corners of the large garden when needed.Relaxing by the large well maintained pool with gorgeous views, playing pétanque on the pitch, using the games room with table tennis, darts, badminton, table football etc or out visiting the beautiful villages, wine tasting at the chateau’s or cycling/running through the countryside gave options for everyone to enjoy themselves. Bakery in the village and supermarket in Eymet was a 7 minute drive away, so no problem stocking up on provisions. Plenty of restaurants and all other facilities in the very pretty Eymet (7 min) and Bergerac (20 min).We felt very lucky to have found this gem of a place and were so well looked after. Hôtel Mercure Villeneuve sur Lot Moulin de Madame

"A beautiful hotel situated in an old windmill, right next to the river, with amazing views. The rooms are lovely, clean and well equipped and the shower is great. All of the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Our evening meal was wonderful, as was breakfast, with a wide and varied range of excellent, fresh products. You can wander downstairs to sit by the river, passing through a room containing the workings of the old windmill, a bit like a museum, which is really interesting. There is a huge free car park, including spaces with electric charging points."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Tout était parfait: la maison, la magnifique piscine, la cuisine extérieure super pratique, le grand jardin,...La maison se situe au bout d'un sentier, dans une impasse, l'endroit est donc très calme et reposant. Villeréal, magnifique petit village, est à 5 minutes en voiture."

"Pour une rare fois, les photos donnent un portrait qui ne rend pas tout-fait justice à l'appartement qui est vraiment agréable, bien équipé et très bien situé dans une village médiéval. Le village est vraiment agréable à marcher. Il y a un peu de touristes mais on en ressent pas vraiment la présence. Méfiez-vous des lundis car tous les commerces sont fermés ! Issigeac est un bon pied à terre pour explorer la région. Nous avons voyagé par temps de canicule; on trouve de nombreux endroits de baignade en rivière sur les bords de la Dordogne qui serpente la région. Châteaux, grottes et vignobles à profusion..."

"This place is an absolute delight. Comfortable, clean. Remote enough to be quiet and only 4 mins from the beautiful town of Monpazier. A good sized pool, well maintained. It’s a little jewel."

"The Cottage is in an amazing location surrounded by forest and wildlife. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Amazing views. It was excellent apart from the high heat there is no air con but a fan supported the air circulation. All you ever need for cooking is available and the pool is excellent too. Anna the host is an Amazing host and good communicator. If you need anything She will get it for you. There are friendly deer that visit in the evenings and they are an amazing sight. The bedroom has a double bed with a very comfortable mattress. Good shower and wash room facilities all just perfect. The perfect chilling out place to enjoy."
