Cate & her family were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Cate made our stay stress-free and was more than happy to help organise anything we may have needed for our stay. "We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The house is beautiful, as well as the garden and the swimming pool. Andrea and Francesca are excellent hosts and amazing cooks. We have had the best dinners, no restaurants needed! We really recommend staying at Villa Carda for a fantastic holiday!"

The location is well suited to travel to Montalpucino, Chianti, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa and Florence. Both Mido and David were very attentive towards making our visit comfortable . The host was extremely responsive about the check-in process leading up to the stay, during the stay whenever we had any issues, and even after our stay when we needed to recover an item that was left behind. There were some slight hiccups with the house during our stay (garage door opener was out of batteries one time and the shower drain clogged one time), but the host was proactive as can be and quick...

"Would absolutely go back! Had a fantastic 9 nights away, convenient for the bus into Florence! Beds were firm and really comfy. Food was fantastic and very reasonable. Breakfast was good, we only had it on the first morning for convenience. The choice of pools was brilliant, all clean, just a little cold!! The only thing I think could be improved is the wrist bands! If you stay for longer than a couple of days, the bands don’t last due to suncream use, as a family of 4 we went through at least 3 each over 9 nights. Didn’t feel very eco friendly. Other than that, perfect! "
