"We had issues with our safe. After asking for it to be fixed multiple times, someone finally came 24 hours later. Our fan started working randomly one of the nights, from 23:00 to 02:00, we were unable to turn it off! For an all inclusive 5 star hotel, there werent many food options and even when we came to eat when the restaurant opened, the food was lukewarm / cold. We had pork steaks one day that weren't cooked properly, which resulted in food poisoning...not nice at all - we lost 48nhours of our holiday due to being unwell. We ended up eating outside of the hotel on several occasions due to the limited food options - which we had not bugeted for! The reception and restaurant staff were all very friendly - the main positive of the hotel! The lights/ lamps in the restaurant fell on 2 occasions, just missing guests. This is an expensive hotel for what is offered."

"10 minute walk into Alvor to all the restaurants. Excellent facilities. Was able to watch Football and other sports in the bar which was great for me"

"Lovely hotel overlooking the beach. Staff were very welcoming. Very pleasant walk into Alvor along boardwalk. We were given an upgrade to our room which was a nice surprise. Breakfast had a great selection on offer. We preferred to eat in bar as opposed to the buffet in the main restaurant. Very enjoyable stay overall."

"Excellent location, very nice and cozy place with 6 bays of private parking and the owners are extremely friendly, will definitely stay there whenever we visit algarve, highly recommended for a family vacation. We stayed in the master suite and it has ample space for 6 people, with a fridge, microwave , kettle and a coffee machine, the balcony was enormous, private parking for at least 6 cars, swimming pool and hot tub for all guests, simply amazing… "

"The whole hotel experience was fantastic. Such a calm and relaxing hotel in general. The staff were amazing, so helpful and kind. The breakfast was incredible, with a whole host of options and also freshly made to order food. The spa facilities were great and such good value for money considering it is included with the booking. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and I will be sure to be booking again when I plan to be in Portimao."

"Nice resort"

"Excellent location to the old town, restaurants, marina and beach. The staff at reception and cleaning were pleasant and very helpful. The only draw back is the dated furniture which needs updating. It is definitely better to park outdoors than the garage which is very tight to get out. "
