"This stone cottage in the mountains of Malaga province was quaint and cozy. It's part of a camp site with several other such cottages, so you don't feel isolated. There's a pool, but it was closed (for the fall season?). The surrounding woods were fenced off so we couldn't hike much, but walking within the grounds was pleasant.

"Great affordable place to stay right on the beach. Reception was outstanding l, so friendly and helped us park our rental car in the parking garage. Bed was massive, bathroom could do with some TLC but ok. Beach was right there! Restaurants were many at good prices."

"Absolutely lovely week in a superb location!The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped … and who wouldn’t to cook and eat in a kitchen diner with that view!Gaucin is peaceful and beautiful village and we visited a couple of excellent restaurants. We enjoyed the location so much that we only ventured out of Gaucin twice! Would absolutely recommend!"

"This was the second time we had stayed at the property and were joined by friends and family this time. Lovely location, peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The host was on hand, when needed. The pool was most welcome when the temperature ramped up. We would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful break with fantastic views. "
"This hotel is a comfortable oasis in the wonderful village of Gaucin. It has a long history of accommodating guests and under these new owners has been upgraded to include good wifi and a wonderful restaurant on the main level. The room was beautifully decorated and looked out over the mountain range and towards the rest of Gaucin. Breakfast buffet each morning was delicious with freshly baked croissants and a host of other offerings. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommended!"

"The house is amazing; huge, clean, well-equiped and the view is speechless. The owner is available to answer any questions as well as Esther who is in the village to welcome you and answer any other questions you may have. If you are looking for a quiet village, this is perfect. We did a few trails which all started iin the village. You can also find a few grocery stores. Since it was early in January, not all restaurants were open. We arrived by train and took a taxi from the train station located in El Colmera (no train station in Gaucin)). The only taxi drive, Javier, is fantastic!! We had a great time!!"
