"We had an excellent stay. Very friendly and helpful owners; was able to park outside; high quality facilities; lovely breakfast; and overall enjoyable stay."

Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers.
There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins.
The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition.
All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive.

"Great hotel in the centre of Stranraer. Large room and bathroom very comfy bed and pillows. Excellent customer service from all staff. Good cooked breakfast. The only negative I would offer is that the bedroom was too hot."
