"I have stayed at the Earl many times over the decades. The staff haven't changed and i think this is an indication of how well the hotel is ran. The ladies on reception and breakfast are lovely. This time we had room 406, lovely big room overlooking carpark. Very quiet. Highly recommend "
"Great hotel and everything about it is spot couldn’t put a hotel in a better place for amenities whether it’s a drink some food or a bit of shopping I never had the breakfast this time round as last time I was disappointed as there was no beans and no bacon but I’m sure it’s improved but generally apart from the breakfast the hotel I could not recommend more nice touches with the pringles and chocolate bar in the fridge "

Location is 10min walk from station and easy
access.

"This hotel was located about 10 mins from my final destination, I had the option of others in the area but had stayed at a Campanile hotel in the south of France a few years ago while touring, the staff were great, the food was great and it was very relaxing. so I opted for the Campanile and was not disappointed."
"The staff were great and the food good. There was a lovely garden area we could have drinks in. There was no decent decaffeinated coffee for breakfast only nasty instant. Why? Our room was nice but there as no air conditioning and the windows were high up so we had to stand in a chair to open them. One didn’t open. It’s not healthy not to be able to have fresh air in a room. "
