"Beautiful little slice of heaven in the middle of the forest. I don’t know that I read somewhere, but there is no AC in the lodge which was disappointing to hear when I got there after a hot day of hiking however, it cooled off nicely at night and fans were provided. There is no cell service and what Wi-Fi they think they have really does not exist. It was difficult to map hikes without driving 10 miles out of town to get on some sort of Wi-Fi. There is no service around that entire area that would be one suggested upgrade that they could provide to their guests. Be sure to download everything you need, make all of your phone calls and use all the Wi-Fi you need before you even get close to the resort. Beautiful property right on the creek so overall, it was good."
"We stayed for 2 nights, 6 adults and 2 kids. There were plenty of comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and the location is close to several outdoor recreation options, including Crater Lake. Communication with the host and check in / out were all super easy. Highly recommend!"
Umpqua National Forest Cabin #3 – Near Crater Lake & Umpqua Hot Springs
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and quiet. No internet unless you pay for wifi so a good place to be unplugged. Hot springs aren't far and are warm and comfortable. Recommend to bring something to put your clothes in to keep them dry. It is a hike to get to them."
"I met friends here. We came for snow, but the weather created a different trip. This is not a fancy chalet. It is better. It was a needed reconnection with friends and family. Plenty of family games and a wood stove to set the mood. No one, not even the kids. Missed the big screen tv, they actually hung out with us old folks. Def. Stay again"
