"The hotel's staff is amazing, but at dinner time, they would benefit from extra waiters. We waited way too long for our table to be served. However, everyone at the hotel is giving their best, and I give them five stars for their service. We miss them already and will be back! Merci!"
"Lovely hosts who have good recommendations and were very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. The hotel is very peaceful and relaxing, the rooms spacious, and breakfast was lovely. It is a little off the beaten track but that added to the charm for us. Would definitely return. "

This quiet little corner of Carcassone was so close to the walled city, yet was beautiful to stay at, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the pool was a fantastic spot to cool off in the afternoon. Plus, the decor of the rooms was fantastic (our was hot pink and orange). Could not have been happier with our stay at Hotel Montmorency!"
"I like IBIS hotels and this budget one didn’t disappoint. Out of the town so not many local amenities but only a 20 minute walk. Rooms were basic but clean. Really quiet and a nice little continental breakfast in the morning. I’d stay again x"
"A really lovely place to stay - in the shadow of the castle itself which was a 10 minute walk away.
It was more an apartment than a hotel room, with fridge/freezer, sink, living area and two separate bedrooms.
Be aware that it was initially difficult to find because the rooms are within a retirement home and the facilities within our room clearly supported assisted living.
