Loved this small hotel tucked into a hillside with gorgeous views. Dinner fantastic with attentive staff. Not a large menu. Just a few first and second course dishes prepared just for that night. At the chefās suggestion we shared plates of all of them. The pool has great views and drinks. The hilltown Fortunago is on the list of Italyās best preserved and carefully maintained. Town so tiny nothing to do but enjoy the perfection of place. No tourist shops in sight. A true get-away. Excellent...

Lovely, quiet, historic setting. Interesting castle tour (even if you can't understand Italian, but they have it in English if you reserve ahead). Great service. Great food (Antica Locanda del Falco).
Very minor complaints: Flood light shining into our room (but curtains blocked OK). No food at 6am when we had to leave.

No words to describe this place and the people that runs it. Everything was perfect, the scenery, the food, the atmosphere...but most of all the feeling that you've been treated like family. Marco and Eleonora are simply the best one could ask: attentive, professional , caring. Me and my daughter were treated like one of their own and that feeling says more than a million words. We will be back for sure and thanks again Marco and Eleonora for everything .

The hotel was clean and felt like a good value. We had a nice 4 person room that actually had two seperate bedrooms with a shared bath that was perfect for our family. The breakfast that was included was fairly basic but all we needed. Overall we will very happy with the place and had fun renting ebikes and exploring the surrounding area.

Just one night but we requested early check in and the hotel was more than accommodating. Beautiful place in a small village in the country. Great for relaxing.

This hotel was out of the center of Piacenza. As we were traveling by bike that meant we could not go into the city center easily. There were 2 restaurants located in the same strip mall as the hotel. We had a safe place to store our bikes.

The room was clean and the hotel staff was incredibly gracious. Every staff member we encountered was able to communicate in Italian and English. The food in the restaurant was amazingly good. We had aperitifs at the bar and dined in the restaurant several nights during our stay. The staff was very hospitable and the drinks and food were always great.
