Pretty much as advertised
Easy to find, somewhat dated but clean and tidy, comfortable bed; perfect for a short stay.
Exactly as advertised, got a nice little taste of Vermont. Surprisingly close to Okemo, and in a nice cozy neighborhood near a pretty good pie merchant. I got the vibes I was looking for, and then some.

Close to Okemo
For a place to stay near okemo ski resort this is a good option. It's 4 miles from the resort and less then half the price of staying on mountain. The wifi works but out AT&T phones did not so don't expect to make calls or send texts. The TV is a smart TV so you can stream content but not watch local TV. The property is privately owned and shows its age but isn't run down. If this is available next time we visit okemo we will book it again.

Disliked: Communication
Very, very basic and rugged studio. Issue with wifi that hasn’t been solved, although staff was nice and courteous.

Pleasant stay
Great for one person. Very quiet neighborhood, with an easy drive into Springfield where I was working. Very clean along with plenty of towels and such. For two rooms and a bath just what I needed.
Everything was quite nice. Quiet neighborhood, clean with ample space, all the kitchen appliances one needs, Wi-Fi was good, more than enough towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, kitchen kit for dishes. Amenities I didn't find at another stay, different organization. Easy drive into Springfield, where I was working. Good deal all around.
Stayed for three nights, 10 minute drive to Okemo which was the prime selling point of this house. Very small but didn't expect much. Only issue we had was that the wifi was very spotty, constantly went in and out. Otherwise, had a great stay.
Met all our needs. No frills. Internet SUCKS. Which also means tv sucks. They either need to fix it or state that it's totally unreliable. You could NEVER work from this location. Internet came and went as it pleased. On good note: beds extremely comfortable. River view was fabulous
VERY disappointing check in process and VERY COLD rental unit
I have always had great experiences renting. this is my very first negative review. I am sorry i had to do this but others should be aware. The owner never communicated with me and never sent me the code to enter the property. I had to call VRBO/ Vacasa to complain. They were able to send me the code. When i got to the property it was clear that there was no effort made for my arrival. A few inches of snow had piled up in front of the entrance. There was also a very musty smell that hit me a few seconds after I entered the unit. But far worse, the thermostat had been set BELOW 60!! the place was freezing cold and this was not a well insulated unit. It took a few hours for the heat to make things bearable. The cold probably took my mind off musty smell. My complaints about this were met with only a sorry and we are looking into this. That was 2 weeks ago, with nothing more being said. I would never stay at this place again even if they offered me a free stay!

Cozy Okema Valley studio
Comfortable studio on a creek with kitchen. Very quiet. Nice base camp for hiking, biking and golf.
Inside, the unit was clean but a bit shabby. No chairs or couch other than at kitchen table. No dresser to hold clothes. Main bed pushed against wall, so person against wall had to slither to end of bed to get out. No direct access to river. Must go outside, open garage door, walk through dingy, web by, less than clean garage (where all games and leisure activities are) to small back yard only to find a vegetation barricaded ten-foot steep incline to the river. A broken front door with torn screen and a strong smell of insecticide greeted us when we were finally able to get inside. The code for the front door was sent 15 minutes before check-in. Alas, there is no phone nor Wi-Fi service, so we had to drive 1/2 mile to phone your local contact to get the code. No information in the unit regarding nearby attractions nor activities and no access to the internet made planning outings extremely difficult. We left a day early after we were unable to get help from the local contact (who did not show up after promising help and did not answer our calls) not from the emergency 24-hour team, just platitudes. Doubt this review will be aired, but hope it results in some improvements to this property and a more pleasant experience for future tenants.
