Best Western Plus French Quarter Courtyard Hotel

"Customer service was excellent. Front desk was very accommodating with early arrival. Continental breakfast was convenient. Location was in the far corner of the French quarter but it forced us to walk off all the calories of excellent food we ate. The only downside to our stay was the mattress. My back killed me every morning waking up. Zero support."

"We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The only exception was we were told to not stand on the balcony for the parade. There was no signage that stated that we couldn't and the manager who told us to leave during the parade wasn't kind. He took photos of us after we left and began watching the parade from the street. The amenities that were especially useful were the free water and coffee stations they had daily. Also, the proximity to everything was fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to. Expect a $25 daily resort fee that isn't mentioned and a $55 parking spot via valet. There were also added taxes on the drinks we bought at the bar. Be prepared to pay about $250 extra at check out. The pool was lovely! A must for the hot summer weather in Nola."

"Frenchmen is close to many eating and music venues. Staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We certainly enjoyed our time there. When staying here one should be aware that the building was built in 1860 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. A flight of stairs took us to our room 211. Inside the unit was two story with bathroom on the entry level and a queen bed on a loft reached with 17 stairs. Not handy for a 3 am trip to the toilet. I am 74 years old and get around well. To enjoy the Frenchmen, you shouldn’t have ambulatory issues."
