"Hosts were amazing from our arrival to departure. We had some excursions that took some time from experiencing the B&B. Great details in the cabanas."
"The staff was wonderful - lots of great recs for dining & things to do. We didn't explore much of Belize City, but we got great info for the time we were there.
Everyone says the city isn't safe - but honestly, be smart and don't do dumb things like flash cash, and you'll be fine :)"
"We traveled in April (couple). The owners are AMAZING! Susie and Mike are very nice and helpful, they will chat with you, or also just leave you be, which is nice. They provide breakfast and the food is probably just about the best food we had on our vacation. The room was clean, and if we needed anything all we had to do was ask. I can't wait to go back and stay again. Definitely recommend to EVERYONE!"
"Our stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice."

"A unique property in a unique location. The owners and managers really made the stay, from the check-in process to the welcome upon arrival, thoughtful touches such as a homemade breakfast, personalized recommendations about the area, & supplying incense coils at night so we could watch the sunset from our private porch. If you avoid mega-resorts, gravitate toward eco-friendly properties, and appreciate a personal, family-owned vibe, this may be for you!"

"This property is lovely, room is clean, hot water is great, no a/c which I knew, very strong fan plus ceiling fan kept me cool. The fan is loud, doesn’t keep me from sleeping tho. A beautiful place to stay and I would come back again."

"Very modern and posh! Food in restaurant was good but expensive! Pool was relaxing, bar fabulous and the room was soooo clean and comfortable! Perfect massages at the spa after a week of diving!!! Well priced spa services!! Will stay here again!!"
"Our group of 20 persons stayed at the Golden Bay Belize for one night. I had contacted the hotel in advance and they were very helpful in helping me secure a cave tubing tour for our group. When we arrived, the hotel restaurant was to be closed for a private event, despite me notifying the hotel our group would like to eat at the restaurant. The front desk was amazing and had staff prepare an area in the restaurant for our group and we were able to have our evening at the hotel as planned. The hotel provided our group with towels for the tour and even delivered our luggage to the dock after our tour to save our group an extra stop at the hotel.
I cannot say enough good about this hotel. It is reasonably priced, and clean. The restaurant is first rate and the staff does above and beyond to provide the best experience for their customers.
I will continue to book our groups through the Golden Bay."
"We couldn’t be happier. So cute. So clean. Every single staff member was so friendly.
Cafe was awesome. Grounds are beautiful.
We wish we could just stay forever "
"The property is so well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect if you’re in the city. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Julia, Sher, Mike & Barbie just to name a few, are very kind and super helpful. Will definitely visit again. We had and enjoyable and relaxing stay."
"We had a great time at Belizean Shore Resorts. My parents had an ocean front room (bottom floor) my family had an upper ocean view room and the other party in our group had a pool view room. The ocean front & ocean view rooms had great views and a nice breeze. The pool view room was close to the pool & the office. The grounds are really nice & overall is a fairly small resort which we prefer. The pool & swim up bar are perfect although you will pay double the price for drinks there. The margaritas are great though. The bartenders are awesome & the food ordered at the pool bar is really good. Unfortunately, the sargassum is terrible there .. the water in front is full of it and it can be very smelly. The resort cleans the beach area but you cannot get into the water from the beach right now. Everyone we talked to said this year is the worst they've seen and is up and down the entire east side of the island. The resort sprays for mosquitoes but let me tell you... you must have mosquito spray with Deet. Take ALOT! The resort has spray but you'll pay double for it. We took 4 cans and bought another 3 while there. We also booked the walking food tour, BBQ Snorkel, and Lamanai Ruins tour through the resort & they were all awesome and easy to do with them. I'd suggest using their reservations department to book excursions. We booked 2 golf carts through isla Bonita (they were much cheaper than through the resort). "
"Absolutely excellent resort and diving. The beach was disappointing - you can’t really swim from the resort due to the grass and seaweed. And as romantic as the grass roof was we had critters In the roof chirping and pooping on our bed. They cleaned very well every day but pick the first floor if you can. "
