Ocean Front Cottage!! Beauty on the outside, Charm on the inside!

Beautiful, completely restored in March 2020 Beach Front home. Great curb appeal, but even better view from the ocean side. Private stairs to the beach. Full view patio doors in great room open to let in the sea breezes. Beautiful wood floors throughout. Great surfing right from the backyard. Several additional great surf breaks in short walking distance. Surf fishing from the backyard. Great kayaking. Volleyball area in the cove.

This home is a beautiful cottage built in the early 1900's and has been completely restored and updated with all of the creature comforts you need to relax and make this your get away destination. This is truly a great cottage, but there is no question that being on the beach makes all of the difference in the world! You don't have to walk the kids to the beach! They are there! The hot water shower is right there in the backyard, steps away from the beach. If you have stayed in a home on the beach, you understand! If you haven't, now is your opportunity!

The central coast is the up and coming wine region of California. Templeton, Paso Robles, Edna Valley and even Cayucos and Cambria offer many destination wineries to tour, taste and buy.

If you are not into wine touring, there are so many activities right outside your door. You may decide to park the car and just stay put for the week.

Fabulous Location!

This is the 4th time I have stayed at Journey's End. The location could not be better - right on the beach. The home is lovely and has every amenity that you could need. I look forward to returning again next year!

A week of R & R on the beach

The property was amazing, the outside gardens and fountains were beautiful spots to relax and get out of the wind if needed, the beach access was easy, so little preplanning and packing was needed. Beach chairs and boogie boards were available which was great because we didn't bring any. The house was unique and had the feel of a vacation get away.

Family Beach Adventure

We absolutely loved this cottage by the sea. The patio was perfect for watching the ocean and relaxing. The ocean was just a few steps away. Our five-year-old made sand castles while her parent took long walks on the beach. The town of Cayucos was within walking distance. I hope to return to this fantastic beach home soon. Betty

Amazing Stay!

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home! Everything was perfect! It was so tough to leave, but we definitely hope to come back again in the future! The hospitality was amazing, and the location and view can’t be beat!

Nice stay in Cayucos

Nice cottage on the beach. Very clean and cozy. Two couples. We used this as a base camp to explore the area, Morro Bay, visited Hearst Castle, Ragged Point and Wineries and shopping in Paso Robles. Great views from den and back patio.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property! The home was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed to have a perfect mini family getaway. The only down side was the 10:00am check out felt a little rushed, 11:00am would have been perfect! We definitelty plan on booking again.

The best place in Cayucos! Comfortable clean and can’t beat the location or the view. Highly recommend this place to anyone a thousand times over. Thank you journeys end for another incredible vacation! We will be back for a third time soon.

Perfect Trip!

I've stayed in many rental properties and this one is by far one of the best! It felt like home from the minute we stepped inside, and was very cozy. It's clear the owners take pride in the property, and make an effort to keep it in good shape. The kitchen is well stocked, and intended to be used. We will stay here again!

Better then the photos

The photos posted to VRBO are great, but it's even better in person. Me and my family just spent Thanksgiving week at Journey's End and it was spectacular. Easy check in, check out. Lauren and David are quick to answer any questions and were great hosts. And of course you can't beat the 24/7 view of the Pacific Ocean! We highly recommend and will definitely be back again!!

Beautiful & Relaxing Getaway

This was our second time at Journeys End. We loved it the first time and were blown away by the recent remodel — it’s even more beautiful if that’s possible. Lauren is such a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed. The view of the ocean is just spectacular. Truly a special home and place to relax and explore the the beach. We can’t wait to come back.

Journeys End is beyond perfect.

Journeys End has so much character. The house was spotless and very well stocked. From our reservation to our stay and after check out Lauren was the most gracious host. Journey's End, where we did not want to leave!

Our family of 4 (2 kids age 7 and 9) had a wonderful week at Journey's End. Lauren and David were super hosts! We walked into a beautiful, clean home with fresh flowers, snacks and a bottle of wine to great us upon arrival. The property was true to the photos and description, with a lovely view of the ocean for sunrise and sunset. They provided us with great local information as we wanted to explore the neighboring towns, mountain bike, hike and dine. Everything was spot on. Thanks so much! Cayuco’s best kept secret

“No detail gone unnoticed.” This is an updated, well stocked, and very comfortable, clean home. The upstairs loft area was a real bonus for our young children. The gardens in the front of the property offer a secluded get away and quiet space away from the beach. This is a beautiful place and the owners have put a lot of love and care into their property. We’re lucky that they are sharing it with us!

A "Journey" that never "Ends"

This property does not disappoint. It is an amazing and wonderful home that offers a number of vignettes throughout the cottage property to provide many ways to unwind. The photos accurately reflect this special beachfront location. Our family found the location to be a combination of blissful peace while offering access to activities abound. The only thing that tops this wonderful vacation home is the warm and welcoming manner in which the owners make you feel. We were so enamored with the property and warmth of the owners, we cannot wait to return.
