  • Well, this is definitely a home that you will not miss nor forget whenever you visit Cayucos. Our cheerful pink exterior home has magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean from almost ever room in the home, including the decks and loft. The home is wonderfully decorated with the greatest of care and vintage furniture throughout the rooms. There is plenty of space for outdoor activities and cooking.

This was the 4th time my family, and I stayed at the Pink Gem, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We just love the location! It is so nice to sit and enjoy the ocean views with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at the end of the day. I have recommended this place to others!

This cottage is absolute perfection! Everything was spotless with so many lovely personal touches throughout. We really enjoyed the character of the space and loved having such a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. Highway noise did not bother us at all. Nice neighborhood close to all our central coast destinations. Comfortable dining table and chairs that we used to play card games and it was so nice to be next to the big windows. Did not want for anything - appreciated the bathroom products provided and ease of check-in and coming/going (no key needed). Thank you to the hosts for sharing this wonderful place!

Enjoyed our stay immensely - fit our desires perfectly! Great stay but I don’t want to give it too good of a reputation as it will fill up all time. Seriously, this is a perfect place to enjoy the beach and get to know the SLOW Central coast region

Nice Oceanfront property

It’s a very cozy and comfortable home. The house bedrooms are well furnished. The kitchen has all the needed appliances. It would be nice to have stainless steel vessels for cooking as the nonstick are not well cared for by guests. Overall an excellent place to spend 4 days.

This house was such a lovely place (the photos provided are accurate) but sitting outside was something no one wanted to do because it fronts Highway 1, which is a very busy road. We were there during the week in the middle of September so I was a little surprised how much traffic there was, both day and night.The house was so well insulated that you didn’t hear the traffic noise if you were inside, so we were mostly inside and out sightseeing.The rate is so reasonable for a 3 bedroom/2 bath house and we had so many things to see and do in the area that we were fine with it being so close to Highway 1. Other than that, the house is awesome. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen, dining room, and living room were nicely decorated and very comfortable. There are also plenty of windows for viewing and there is plenty of room for parking.

perfect for our trip

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way from Sonoma County to SoCal- taking my MIL home after the holidays. Home is just as pictured. Great location with ocean views. We walked to the beach. Super clean, nicely decorated, comfy beds. Everything you could want for your stay. Kitchen is well equipped and seems brand new. Decor in the whole house is nicely done. There is plenty of room for everyone. I had a couple questions and the host responded super quick. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this place, it was amazing. Very beautiful and quiet. The first bedroom may need a darker shade. The neighbors porch light stayed on until late hours and it shined right into the room. I like a dark room so it was tough to fall asleep quickly. Nothing that a curtain couldn’t fix.
