"Location, safety, little gas fireplace in the room, and complimentary breakfast are great. There is no thermostat in the room.... it was a chilly spring stay, which was OK with me, but might not suit others. Sparse amenities, but coffee machine and fridge. Sweet old-fashioned motor inn, nicely kept. "

"First, the views from our room and the property in general are amazing! With the benches for facing the ocean and the chimnea fires also available to stay warm while enjoying the sunset, it is an ideal place to view the sun setting over the ocean. Super friendly staff to answer any questions! i usually ask lots of questions. Breakfast is so close that you do not need a car! Also great staff there too! Absolutely ready to return to this place!"

"I booked this room as a treat for a dear friend visiting from out of town, drawn in by the "exceptional" reviews and the great location. Unfortunately, the stay left us asking: exceptional for whom? The location truly is a highlight — but that's where the positives end. For the rate paid, we expected a comfortable, well-maintained room. What we got felt closer to a budget motel experience. The ventilation was noticeably poor, resulting in an unpleasant odor and condensation collecting on the windows. The water pressure was also disappointing — barely adequate for a basic shower. If you have modest expectations, you may not be bothered. But if you're booking this as a special occasion stay or expecting the quality the price point implies, look elsewhere. I wish someone had told me that before I booked."

"Overall, I would say it was comfortable stay and the location has easy access to freeway and to the beach. We did have issue with our toilet but it was taken care of on the same day."
