Beautiful 1899 Home turned into a BnB. Beautifully decorated with lots of local history. Hospitatity of Nanette is outstanding as was her delicious home cooked Breakfasts. Prime Minister Margret Thatcher has stayed here. Within a very short walk to the Churchhill Museum. Highly recommend!!! We already booked a stay for 2027.

This was an amazing place to stay. Rebecca and Karl were amazing hosts. The property is so beautiful and peaceful. They have activities like hiking, fishing, pool table, a paddleboat even movies for you to choose from and watch. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, made from scratch and served so nicely. It started with the check in, as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and friendliness. All the details of the hotel were shared with me. Every time I walked past the front desk, no matter who's the clerk was they greeted me and asked me how my day was going. The customer service was amazing. This was a very refreshing stay. The property is everything they say that are. The only frustration is they charge a separate $10.00 (plus tax) resort charge, regardless of whether you use the resort amenities. This "hidden" charge should simply be a part of the room rate and not a surprise when you check out.

This was comparable to any top luxury hotel in a large city. The duplex we stayed in was beautiful and very large.

The staff were extremely kind and did everything in their power to make us feel at home. The on site restaurant is amazing and the bar staff are top notch.

Rooms were better than expected. Very clean and spacious with high end upgrades. Lake view was beautiful.

We reserved this room for out of town guests for my mother’s funeral. Last minute changes required a name change on the reservation. Viola handled everything for me in minutes without any hassle. She made a tough day much easier with her kindness that was so needed. She was an angel!

It was very easy to get to and easy to get where I wanted to go. Personnel where very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with hot and cold food. Hotel has been newly updated, rooms were clean, there were lots of wall plugs to be able to charge our laptops and phones. I plan on coming back in the fall and will be staying there again. Overall, I was very satisified with everything.

Unbelievable, Fantastic, Friendly/Helpful Staff. Beautiful Inn, setting, scrumptous food,-fun cheese/bread/wine welcome tray, chocolate muffins ice cream goodnight treat. Many very thoughtful reminders to be kinder humans. Owners definitely expressed more than just owning a business. They thought of almost every detail to make a memorable stay.

It’s a room in a museum. So much cool history. A great location close to everything in Hermann. The host gave us a short tour of the property and offered complimentary drinks. Be warned, the walls are a bit thin to outside noise but a fan helped mitigate it

This is a historic hotel in the heart of Ft. Scott, Kansas within walking distance to the historical sites. The rooms are small due to the age of the hotel but they are comfortable. The owners are very gracious, attentive, and willing to talk at length about the history of the hotel and the town. It has more of a bed and breakfast atmosphere than a hotel which we liked very much

Enjoyed the 'old' B&B and the history of it. Nicely maintained with outdoor fire pit, free water bottles and yummy cookies in the room. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous! Very friendly staff!
