"The host was very hospitable & always a message away if needed. The house is very eclectic yet tasteful! I went on a morning run daily & the neighborhood was always quiet. Great location. It was a 20 minute commute to Scottsdale. & no more than 10 minutes from the hip restaurants Tempe offer's. I was able to park under the canopy every time I arrived. Everything about the experience was 5 star’s!"

"This is a beautiful hotel and the rooms were clean and the beds and linens were adequate. Front desk staff was unapproachable at times and made us feel unwelcome or as if we were an inconvenience to them on several occasions. The pool is not well maintained- Everyone felt sick afterwards after our evening swim."

"This was a lovely little motel wonderfully renovated with just the nicest lady running it. They really did a nice job with the exterior and the interior as well for the most part. Other than a few hiccups. I do think the shower and bathroom could be cleaner. The TV in our room did not work and the ice machine was not working while we were there. There was also extremely limited barking, like not enough for all the rooms that is relatively outside of their control, but they seem to have some kind of outdoor patio in the parking lot that seems less useful than more parking would be the lady running the front desk who I assume is also the owner was very nice. The check-in and checkout process was very easy and smooth. She even gave me a bottle of water for free, which they normally charge for because it was very hot out. The other main thing is that the motel is near a fire station and the main road, so it is very noisy and there are some gaps in the doors of the motel that make it pretty easy for noise to get in. We didn’t have trouble sleeping because we’re pretty heavy sleepers, but there were definitely some noises. Some of the businesses next to the motel are not ideal and have less than ideal clientele, but we didn’t run into any issues and we walked the area several times overall very lovely place. If I had to pick my number one feedback is the bathroom, particularly the shower the toilet and the wall behind the toilet need to be cleaner. We will return!"

"This is my 4th trip to the Biltmore. I have always enjoyed this property and had a wonderful time but this trip was different. The Catalina pool was closed for maintenance on my 3rd day at the resort and other pools including the Ocitilla pool were in need of cleaning. The pool tile was being cleaned while swimmers were in the pool and there was a bad film of sunblock on top of the pool indicating the filtration system was not working properly. The adjacent hot tub water was so dirty, I would not get in it. Overall, the pool maintenance was lacking. It was so disappointing and when we notified the staff on check-out the front desk staff was indifferent and not apologetic. It was disappointing to say the least. Hopefully, things will improve."
