"Everything is horrible and stuff was rude and didn’t help with directions."

"The staff checking in, Diamond, was excellent in customer service, along with the manager Tomica, whom I vented to at check out. BEFORE reserving my room, I called The Showboat, asked them if they have any newly renovated, modern balcony suites, was told "Yes, the Bourbon tower we have Ocean front Premium King balcony suite" or "anything in the Bourbon Tower ". We'll, our suite looked like it was 1980s,the main enterance floor was filthy, furniture was velvet, including the bed headboard which came with white stains scattered about, tables were black with chunks missing, 2 streaks on the wall looked like blood, every doorframe had rusty water drip marks around it, the sliding door to the balcony had a missing outside handle to get back inside, when I tried to call to complain about the room, the yellow phone from the 1980s , would either go straight to a busy signal or ring forever. No iron in the room, took me 20 mins to reach someone for them to tell me we don't have irons. For $500. for one night, I made the wrong choice based off of being lied to. Never felt so cringe in a hotel before."

"Its not a full breakfast. they have eggs patties, sausage patties, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, apple and orange juice, coffee, water milk, cereal, small pastries. I was a bit disappoint with it that and not an actual breakfast liked pictured. The parking lot is small and open. But the spot are small. Staff was barely seen at all. The halls smells heavy of smoke. the room lighting was dim. some lights didn't work at all. but the room did its job. was there for us to rest after celebrating our elopment. the people that hangs around doesn't sit there all day. they don't bother you at all. The 7-11 across the street closes at 10pm. The dispenercy on st. James places is the SPOT! yu wont be disappointed. this hotel could use a face lift and maybe it will have better reviews."

"Place is really nice. The only complaint is the resort is extremely big and not enough direction to get around in the right place. Maybe post more signs or more staff to help with direction "
