"Twice I have stayed at this hotel and both times the AC has made noises throughout the night that has made it difficult to sleep. This time everytime it would cut on there was a loud falling noise of something loose inside. Having checked in later at night and traveling with kids once I realized the issue I decided not to bring it to the attention of the front desk."

They actually make you feel you are important and welcome and happy to have you. Everybody treats you like a VIP. They go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable, you have everything you need, and happy to answer any questions and make excellent recommendations."

"I room was spacious, clean and the property was well kept. However, we did have a problem with the AC in the living area of the room. It was wasn’t work, maintenance was called and they came relatively quickly to fix it. It worked for that day and the next, it stopped working again. Maintenance came again and the replaced the unit. The front desk manager called and apologized for the inconvenience and offered us a bottle of champagne but, my wife and I don’t drink. Then they offered a $30 Starbucks gift card. We accepted it but looking back, I should have demanded that one of the nights be comped. Ok the day of checkout, it felt like the AC stopped working again…."

"Check in (and out) was efficient and pleasant with Ronnie. The rooftop pool & bar/lounge is a beautiful space with nearly 360 degree view of the city. Our only suggestion, please provide a bit more shade options because it got HOT late afternoons. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. Made to order omelettes, hot eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, waffles, oatmeal, assorted breads and pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit. And lots of room to sit and enjoy it on the Mezzanine. The city feels safe and clean, and from the hotel we were easily able to walk Market Square for drinks and dinner and to enjoy the park with live music on a Tuesday night, to the World’s Fair Exhibit & Sunsphere; and to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and the Tennessee History Center. If you have time, take advantage of the Tennessee Riverboat sightseeing tour."

"We had a wonderful long weekend in Knoxville and were impressed with our stay! The hosts were fantastic both leading up to and during the weekend. The condo was spotless and elegantly decorated. We felt at home with the little extra comforts provided. We highly recommend and look forward to a return trip!"

"Phenomenal houseboat! Very well maintained, super clean, comfortable and peaceful. Beautiful views of the Tennessee River. The owners were awesome and the marina crew were spot on. Great area of Knoxville as well. So thankful for available bikes and water sport stuff too (paddle boards, kayak, etc). The walk to the boat was easy especially given it was a marina! I have walked further from my parking spot to hotels in downtown Knoxville. The Albatross gets an A in my book."
