Castles in Centre-Loire Valley

"Lovely stay for our honeymoon. Only detractor was the room sometimes smelled a bit damp, but that is not surprising given the age of the building."

"Great experience! Loved having the whole chateau to ourselves and the pool was great in the hot weather."

"Beautiful place nears some nice towns! Jéröme greeted us warmly and showed us around at our arrival. We enjoyed the trails and the castle. Highly recommended!"

"Nice place and friendly owners who have been travel all the world! "

"The stay was perfect in every way. The Park Room that we stayed in was full of antiques, with stunning decor and four shuttered windows that overlooked the the estate, pond and horses, donkeys and cow. The breakfast was very special with the host's homemade marmelade, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs from the chateau gardens, local cheeses, pastries. Amazing. Ivana was a wonderful host and was so knowledgeable about the area and local history; she goes above and beyond to make the guests...

"Property was excellent and well appointed. Only comments are had charges for towels and electric which is unusual. Overall owner very nice and accommodating."

"Truly unique experience staying in a beautiful chateau/castle. Our accommodation was clean and spacious and truly had a great time."

"We had a magnificent stay at Chateau le Blet. Everything was perfect for a very special stay. We were lucky enough to enjoy the 8 course dinner, what a spectacular way to immerse yourself in the history of the magnificent chateau. Would 100% recommend this property for a luxury stay, we hope to return one day. Irina was so generous with her time and sharing of the history of the property and local area."

"Our family had a wonderful stay in this upscale, beautifully decorated rental property. The home dates from the 1600's and is overbrimming with history. Olivier and Olga were terrific hosts that provided amazing breakfasts during our stay. The property is conveniently located near many amazing chateaus, particularly Chenonceau."

"Absolutley MAJICAL chateau! Beautiful interiors and exteriors including a gorgeous chefs kitchen worthy of nobility!! Plus the interior design is CLASS all the way! Just a gorgeous place to delight the senses! You will fall in love with Chateau De La Villaine!! "

"Our 2 day stay was amazing. We stayed in the restored Charles V11 suite. The staff very friendly and extremely helpful especially Emmuelle and Liliann. Would recommend it as a beautiful hide away. "

"Chambres du 2ème étage très chaudes en cette période de canicule mais grande piscine très appréciée."

"There were eight adult family members on vacation. The property is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the only sounds you hear are the sheep in the dry moat and the birds that inhabit the property. Though there is no air conditioning in the home, the temperatures were very manageable with the windows open. Chartres is a charming town, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris....

"Very spacious, with everything you need. Huge grounds, large swimming pool, table tennis table ideal for children and dogs. Tons of hot water but an additional shower would have been good. Unfortunately local restaurants were either shut down or on holiday in August."
