"It was so lovely on board, just enjoying the river and views of the islands, that we spent most of the day on the boat. The interior is first rate- charming, clean and romantic. There is a wealth of wildlife to be seen from the boat."

Very charming estate style French home with a wonderful host. Breakfast was simple, tasty, had variety, and felt local and homegrown. Entering the gate and getting to parking was pretty tight but if you are driving a car in France you should be used to that by the time you get there. Our hostess was very accommodating for the couple special requests that we had. The house is a 15 to 25 minute walk from sites and dining in the main town center of Bourges. Manoir de Basses Rivieres is a hidden gem! The property is lovely, beautifully maintained, serene, and fascinating. Be sure to explore all of the caves which are on the grounds, which have been utilized since Troglodytes lived in this area. Guillaume and Arthur are gracious hosts, and the rooms are elegantly and thoughtfully appointed. Unbelievably perfect place to stay! Note: Be sure to reach out to them directly before your arrival, as accessing the hotel is a bit tricky.

Exquisite property in the perfect neighborhood. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away from the train station to be quiet. Across the street from the fabulous Les Halle market. The staff were delightful. We can highly recommend that you stay at Les Tresorieres!

What a delightful experience! We decided to splurge and stay in a Château since we were going to the Loire Valley, and were so glad we did! Our room was in one of the cottages, so it was quiet and felt like we had our own house. The breakfast at the Château was wonderful, particularly for the view. Outstanding service as well! Great proximity to Tours and the chateaux.

Loved the hotel, the owner was so helpful and his suggestion for a French restaurant was the best French food we had while visiting France. Very clean, comfortable beds and lovely linens.

Charming hotel in Amboise. You can walk around town and this is a great home base for touring the Loire valley. There is an amazing restaurant right across the street for real foodies/chefs only. (a locals secret which I am happy to share.)

We stopped in this hotel during our trip to see the Loire Valley castles and were very satisfied with this hotel. It is just a 5 minutes walk from the Chenonceau castle and the rooms were perfectly made to make you feel in the atmosphere of the region. We had a really quaint but spacious room, perfectly cleaned and with a large and super comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, accepting our late arrival time without any issue which was very appreciated.

We stayed 15 days in France and this was our favorite hotel.. Room was exceptional staff was fantastic with excellent Wifi and Free Parking.We just loved this hotel. This is 5 stars plus..
Now the downside.. The Parking is horrible. You need to almost be a stunt driver to even get into the gate of the hotel. A sub compact barely fits. I suggest they somehow expand the parking so the cars easily fit into the gate and lot.
