"For context, we stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Portugal, and it was by far the best place we stayed. The design of the hotel was beautiful. Everywhere you looked, there were fantastic views of the Douro River and surrounding hills framed by massive windows. The facilities were amazing. "The hotel was absolutely amazing. Friendly staff, quiet location and very clean. My only remark is we stayed for a week and we would have liked a bit more variety at the breakfast buffet as every day it was the same food. It was excellent, but the same."
