Excellent beautiful property Staff extremely nice

We stayed a quick 3 days and had a blast. Everyone was super friendly and inviting, breakfast was awesome, quick walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants, plus we were super excited for one of the better small hotel gyms we've been in - if your hotel has barbells and weights over 20kg, they're doing something right :) We'll certainly be recommending Lagos Atlantic to others and will hopefully be back in the future for more than just a few days!

I have stayed at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico five times in the last 18 months. The staff is especially friendly and accommodating. Antonio in particular always greets you with a warm smile and an interesting fact about the island. His quick wit is a plus too! I will always stay at the Grand Hotel.

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.

My husband and I stayed there for our 2nd anniversary after a few days on the Porto side as we were touring a few port lodges. Beautiful property in a very walkable part of Porto. The breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were so friendly. We did a mother daughter trip and loved being able to sit on the balcony off our room or at the rooftop bar and enjoy some wine and the sunset in the evening.

Andre at reception started us off with great hospitality and friendliness and had suggestions for several activities. The room was superb as was the hot springs pool. The hotel had the nicest indoor pool I've seen anywhere. The whole experience was very memorable

I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. A great relaxing hotel with all the needed services. The spa is relatively small (not for Europe) and provide very good services professionally delivered. The breakfast is very good and excellent service. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed, however, be aware of lack of privacy if traveling with friends or family members, the shower is all glass and visible from all angles of the room, the toilet a bit better but not totally private either. This hotel was wonderful !! The property is gorgeous and the beach is stunning! The hotel is very well kept, super clean, and well organized. The restaurants are great. Breakfast buffet was great options and quality and dinner options were amazing. Cocktails are the best! Properly made not just syrup. The pools were clean and actually heated. My kids loved playing. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. Super clean. Very friendly staff -ask them anything they will help you. Don’t buy water- you can ask for extra bottles of natural water and they will bring to the room.
