"Wow what a hotel outside the city stunning views of the river amazing pool and hotel employees all so helpful friendly couldn’t do enough. Went slightly out of season so not all facilities such as roof top bar available but didn’t soil the use of the hotel will definitely return and you can walk into Porto so good exercise cab only €8 away from the hustle and bustle of the city allowing you to chill out as well."

"The service was excellent. The staff recommendations for restaurants were excellent. The room was great with great views and a great spa/hot tub. Loved the breakfast brought to our room. It was very good. The location is very close to Coinbra University. Dining was close. Shopping was reasonably close but coming back was steep uphill, but not a problem for us. I recommend parking at public parking by the River and take an Uber to the hotel. The cost was minimal. Parking by the hotel was limited...

"A fantastic Hotel, great location, nearly as large as a resort. From the moment I arrived the staff were just super friendly, helpful and polite. The rooms are large comfortable and a mini suite. "This hotel is quite charming but it’s in an impossible position to access with a car. We spent 2 hours trying to locate the hotel using GPS and the directions the hotel gave us. In the end one of us walked in and arranged with the hotel to send us a taxi to get us there. All exhausting and unnecessary as the hotel could clearly have given better instructions."

"The hotel room was dated. Floors need to be refurbished. The bed was not very comfortable. I liked that there were 2 bathrooms in the room. I liked the size of the balcony, however the balcony glass was not clear not sure if was becuz of ocean mist or just needed to be cleaned. There was a good ocean view. The shower in the bedroom wet the floor every time you showered. I was not impressed and actually disappointed for a four star hotel. "
