"Fantastic place! Breakfast was so delicious I wish I could have eaten more. The place has a lot of really wonderful details- the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, great shower, great hairdyer, even the shower gel smelled amazing!"

"Very nice surroundings and property. Friendly and helpful owner and personnel. The heating boiler was leaking and not giving constant warm water and the road to the property was not very easy to take. Otherwise very nice stay, beautiful surroundings and swimming pool. Good restaurant although not open on most days of our stay."

"Partiamo dai punti più positivi. Proprietà disponibile e cordialissima Posto splendidamente isolato nella natura e molto particolare. Purtroppo la struttura ha i suoi anni e manca un'ammodernamento della stessa, molto ben tenuta, per carità e pulitissima, ma si vedono tutti gli oltre 25 anni di attività. Peccato perchè il posto è veramente meraviglioso ed i gestori sono veramente deliziosi"

"Franco was a wonderful host. We had an amazing week on the property. Everything was as described and the area is breathtaking. Far up in the mountains so quite a ride to go grocery shopping and to do sightseeing but other then that it is perfect . I recommend the chef night, it was delicious !!!"

The pool was amazing and the location was perfect for taking day trips to explore several gems in Tuscany. Danny and Jeanette gave us many wonderful recommendations of places to go and see. "Loved our time at Borghetto Calcinaia. We enjoyed the pool, views of the lake, the gardens, the nearby towns. Ben was very helpful and we were delighted to have food at the house when we arrived. The property had everything we needed and it's very comfortable. Can't wait to return!"
