"This hotel is special. It is beautifully appointed and the service sets the standard for excellence. It’s beyond 5 stars. Our room and view were lovely and very clean. The property has wonderful spaces to relax outside. The breakfasts were extraordinary. The staff and the owners were warm and tended to our every need with great care and thoughtfulness. They were gracious hosts. We cannot recommend Don Alfonso 1890 highly enough."

"A perfect location for a perfect vacation. This hotel was so cozy and comfortable. The owners and the staff were top-notch. They couldn’t have made us feel more comfortable. The fresh orange juice in the morning was terrific. Everyone on staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the views were beautiful"

"I want to return with all my daughters. Great staff so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a forty minute bus ride to Amalfi but is so so worth it. We loved the bus system the experience was amazing and breathtaking. The breakfast area views are the best! The older gentleman that wears his ties different than in the US is so genuine. Hope to return soon!"
