"Beach access and sun beds were great. Breakfast was good with many options and several coffee machines. The rooms were small but clean and modern. The hotel restaurant was very good and the location was excellent."
"An amazing hotel. Absolutely loved it. The gym is amazing and its in a really classy location. The breakfasts were lovely and the marina itself is a top location.
The pool is nice - not huge but well suited to the size of the hotel.
The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is after using the sports amenities, there isn't any balconies in the rooms so its hard to dry clothes but on the whole, we loved it and would definitely go back"
"Super nice hotel, staff friendly , rooms nice and clean ( get a room with pool view ). We were there end of June so plenty of sun loungers by upper and lower pool and also by the beach .
Breakfast buffet amazing , Mexican restaurant top choice for lunch , the fine dining restaurant superb . It’s worth walking down the road to try the local restaurant/s too . We went twice during our 7 day stay .
Kotor old town, beautiful ! Only 15 min or so from Kotor but taxi is a rip off , 20 euro there and 30 euro back ( after significant negotiation ) there is a bus alternative but unreliable schedule .
Take a boat trip , we took a private hire , def worth it , arranged by hotel .
Gym is well equipped , tried a nice deep tissue massage as well and loved it !"
"We visited from the Los Angeles area of California. This was our first time to Budva and staying at your hotel. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted very kindly from all of the hotel staff we encountered. We arrived very early (07;30) and we knew that we could not check-in until 15:00. The receptionist was very kind to tell us that they would have a room ready for us within an hour. We walked around the property a little bit, familiarizing ourselves with the campus while our room was getting ready. We were escorted to our room by a very kind bellhop, and much to our surprise we realized that we were upgraded from a regular, "sea view room" to a beautiful "Sea View Villa". The view of old-town Budva from our bedroom and balcony were like a scene from an old postcard.
One of our favorite things, while staying at the Avala Hotel, was going to breakfast each morning. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING! We had never seen as many different choices in a buffet before.
The hotel has a private beach which includes lounge chairs and sun-umbrellas to guests of the Hotel. Also there are 3 pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor), including a Spa Center, Gym and other wonderful amenities.
The Hotel is located just a couple of footsteps from the walls of the Old Town. The architecture and ambience of the hotel, while done very nicely in a modern style, captures the essence and charm of the centuries-old town.
We highly recommend staying at the Avala Hotel."
"The staff at the hotel and concierge were extremely helpful and we had a great experience! The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel also provides access to private beach!
However, there was an incident on our last night where the fire alarm went off at 1AM. All the hotel guests were evacuated and we ended up exiting from the casino in the hotel. The staff at the casino were extremely rude and did not provide instructions on how to exit the building at all. They all stood there and looked at all the hotel guests, then another staff from casino were rushing to get us out of the casino, not providing any instructions on where and what to do to get out of the building. Clearly the staff at the casino weren't trained to respond in this situation."
"Beautiful historic restored building. Would recommend staying in over the modern part. Restaurants are expensive and minimum spend of 90 euro at pool restaurant if using pool loungers was annoying."
