This is a nice, small hotel, about half a block from the beach. It has a well maintained swimming pool, the lobby is kept neat and clean. It is not a fancy place, but at the price per night is a great deal. We enjoyed 8 days here, had a great time walking along the beach and looking at the many small shops nearby. There are lots of good places to eat within a five minute walk.

Overpriced. Good for adventurous people looking for some fun in the numerous bars just outside the hotel. Doesn’t suit families. Poor breakfast. Very noisy if stay in the room on the street side. Shabby furniture.

Everything was a little dirty, our first room had no headboard which i complained about was given a room with one but the thai women was like its the same not understanding having a headboard and having to put my head on a dirty painted wall where not the same thing. Very close to everything but not a lot of everything there the place is like a ghost town and very overpriced.

We have stayed at My House many times over the years. Seen it change hands and the new owners have been accommodating. Close to the beach. The front desk has always tried to be helpful.

Pool under renovation

Nice guesthouse on soi busstation with a pool, rare in this area. But it was, as we noticed when we arrived, closed due to renovation. We might not have booked if we knew. The price was not reduced accordingly, as i have stayed here many times i have compared prices. Breakfast included in a nearby restaurant. Nice and clean, but staff could not understand that i wanted to buy extra items when i asked for breakfast menu. Only "no,no, not include" so i ended up with small glas OJ, sausage, a cold fried egg.coffee, jam and butter and 2 pcs of bread. Ok but not the best.

False advertising. The pictures are old and misleading. We left two days earlier because the smell from the toilet was making us sick. The issues/false advertising were: 1.  Not waterfront.  There is no partial oven view from any room.  The beach picture are down the road.   2.  Pictures are not current of the property.  The property is much older and worn than shown. 3.  Very dirty - door knobs, light switches, garbage can, remote, doors, etc. 4.  Towels and bedding is old and stained. 5.  Bathroom smelled and stunk up the entire room.  All the halls smelled like sewer. 6.  Not furnished as pictured.  No lamps.  Not even a desk chair to set on.  When we asked for a chair in the room, we were brought a plastic stool. 7.  There is no working safe in the room and it is not bolted down. 8.  The price was twice what locals pay who know the poor condition.  It was the same price as the ones that really look like their pictures and are closer to the beach. Would not recommend until the pictures are updated and it is priced according to the amenities and condition.

Jeg begynner med resepsjonen og Damen som har ansvaret for at dette hotellet ledes med full kontroll! "Green" er hennes nickname og fra jeg og andre gjester rundt meg på hotellet kom, ble mottatt med en slik hjertelighet vi alle snakket lenge om i dagene som kom! Alldeles fantastisk dame som gjør absolutt alt for alle oss turister og sørger for at alle har det hyggelig hele tiden! Skinnende rent hotel som også mens jeg var gjest der hadde et par uker med oppussing og fikk en skikkelig fresh resepsjon og tilhørende farger og interiør i moderne stil, samt maling av alle flater i korridorer med lyse og fine farger! "Green" har satt sammen et personale som KAN smile og le og ønsker deg god morgen og holder rommene Skinnende rene hele tiden! Ja jeg befinner meg akkurat nå i Vietnam og har ennå ikke sett tilsvarende renhold selv her på et 5 stjernens hotel! Så vit at du stort sett hele tiden ser renhold blir utført på My House i Cha Am :) Leier du bil eller kanskje vil leie CLICK 150ccm for å komme deg rundt? Spør "Green" om alt du vil foreta deg og hun ordner alt til det iallfall jeg vil si er bra priser og skikkelige kjøretøy! Hotellet har egne nye Honda CLICK 150ccm med nye og rene hjelmer til bruk for en latterlig lav ukespris, men du kan leie for èn dag om du ønsker også! Frokosten er i naturskjønne omgivelser med utsikt mot havet og når du vet hva du betaler for et rom inkludert, ja så er alt du får et KUPP! En stor takk til "Green" og hennes personale :) Ses igjen desember.
