"I supposed to have breakfast included. And when i arrived to this place they told that i didn't have it. So then the people helping to open the door of the car they took my luggage and jacket even when i told them to wait i was paying for the taxi. They didnt care and all that just to throw my jacket and bagpack in the floor. Really ? . Then the shower its like 20 years ago. Not updated at all . "

"The only good thing about this hotel is the buffet breakfast. Other than that the rooms were out dated and dirty. The staff rude ruining my time there. The first room we got the sheets were dirty, the chair had mold on the back and hair that was not mine. The bathroom, dirty and molded and rust all over the shower head. When I called the front desk o was hung up on twice and finally told who that’s what you paid for. I would not recommend staying here. Totally unacceptable."

"The hotel is nice and breakfast was better than anything you would get in America or the west. It’s on the older side it’s not super clean or new. If your more on the high maintenance side maybe get smtg more expensive. Staff was great. Hotel was rly busy when we were there weren’t accommodating for early check in or late check out. "

"The rooftop pool had wonderful views but minimal seating. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choices. The hotel overall definitely needs an upgrade. The first room assigned to us had mildew (mold) on the pictures and curtains. The carpet was stained. We got another room with vinyl flooring instead of carpeting and it had been painted however the walls were dusty and dirty. Great location and good staff."

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and most of the people who worked there were very kind and helpful. The location was great. I believe I got a "city view" room, which turned out to be an alley. The pool is small but nice and clean. I'd recommend this location. I do wish the staff were more diverse."

"Porto Bay Rio is such a beautiful hotel. We booked the panoramic window room and the view is hard to beat. From the sunrises to the sunsets, and even the twinkling lights at night, the view was incredible. We could even see the Christ the redeemer statue from the hotel. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The hotel is also very clean. It’s in a great location with so many places to eat or things to do. It’s right across the street from the beach, which was definitely a plus! They also have an extremely wide variety of food and drinks every day for breakfast. Literally so much to choose from! We’ll be back here for sure!"
