Top Chaldon Hotel Reviews

The Cumberland, London
10/10 Excellent
"Staff and breakfast were great!"

Premier Inn Heathrow Airport Terminal 4
8/10 Good
"We arrived at the hotel after a flight from Calgary. We were able to check in early for a fee. We were given a room with a king bed and a large bathroom. The room was clean, but needs a bit of a refresh. Our room overlooked the airport, but we couldn’t hear a thing. The window was very well insulated for noise. We chose this location because it is an easy walk in a covered walkway back to the terminal, It’s very convenient because you are able to catch the Piccadilly line or the Elizabeth line into London. I would suggest paying the extra and taking the Elizabeth line, because it makes fewer stops and the train cars have air conditioning, which we needed on this trip. The hotel provided a great breakfast, with many different options. Throughout our stay, the staff were all very helpful. I would definitely suggest staying here."

"Clean room, friendly staff, air conditioning, plenty of places to eat nearby. I think it’s mainly good for one or two night stays. A very positive experience. I will stay there again in the near future."

"Comfortable and clean in a good location"

Hotel Riu Plaza London Victoria
10/10 Excellent
"I would absolutely recommend staying here. The property is a four-minute walk to Victoria station which was incredibly handy for getting around London - whether you take the train/taxi/bus. The property was clean and had an upscale vibe. The room itself was well-designed and felt newly renovated. The small details were all there, including large bath sheets, which I’ve never had in any hotel before. The complimentary breakfast in the am was fantastic. Something for everyone, including GF pastries. This was a big draw originally as to why I booked this hotel. We had a beautiful view of Westminster Cathedral/Big Ben/London Eye from the tenth floor that was truly spectacular. There are so many dining options within a five-minute walk. The only downside is something you will find anywhere - homeless people on the streets doing drugs and fighting. However, they were mindful of people on the streets and it was a busy area and easy to cross the street if you needed to. I still felt safer there than downtown in my own city. You could also walk one street over and avoid those situations. It wouldn’t deter me from staying there again. Probably one of the very best hotel experiences I’ve had."

"The place to stay when travelling through Heathrow"

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle
8/10 Good
"Upon arrival to the hotel the reception and lobby area was modern and well presented, giving a great first impression of the hotel. We were greeted at reception by a lovely staff member who offered to check us in early which was a lovely bonus. The room was clean and comfortable but was very dated, however this was expected as we researched the hotel before arrival the shower and bathroom were also very dated and the shower didn’t have the best pressure. The room would benefit from a fridge but due to this being an older hotel we understand why this might not be possible. While our stay was enjoyable overall we felt that some interactions with staff could have been more friendlier a warmer and more welcoming approach would have been better. Despite these points we would consider staying again."
