Receptionist was very polite and friendly. The room was very nice and right next to bus stop. Outside of the main Chamonix Centre, so definitely quieter, but only 5 min bus ride away.

Pretty basic hostel but great Continental breakfast w awesome breads and a bottomless expresso machine. House is at the base of several trailhead so hiking from room is possible. Bus to town is avaliable for 2 euro and walk is easy alind glacial stream that cuts thru Chamonix. Parking is Free and numerous which doesn't happen often here. Would book again.

Maurice at the front desk and a lady serves breakfast are excellent! They were very friendly and treated me with most respect! Highly appreciated their professionalism! Bunk beds room were so tight and shower and toilet are super tiny spaces. We could hear everything. Bed #5 didnt have any working electric circuits.

This is decent accommodation set in an idyllic location. The rooms are spacious but the decor is a bit dated ( especially bathrooms) and could do with some refurbishment. Staff are generally friendly and attentive but their English is not fluent so that needs to be taken into account. Hotel breakfast is not the grandest but nice but they could do with hot options - scrambled eggs at the very least.. on the positive, their croissants are one of the best we had . The main thing to note is that the property is outside the Chamonix town and is a 6 min bus ride and 30 min walk to the town. Buses are every 30 mins and if you plan ahead it is manageable . If staying at the property please ensure you do the riverside walk behind the hotel. It is absolutely stunning.

Beautiful 3 star hotel. Great customer service . Comfortable clean room . 4 stars because of the need for bit more cleaner bathroom. Shower door is not working properly and grouting needs cleaning. Otherwise I would give 5 stars . Away from the town and no in house restaurent. But can purchase snacks and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Great breakfast. Close to bus stop and 5 mins to the town. If you need a restaurent its a bit of a walk. If I stay here . Certainly yes

We spent two weels on France. L'Arveyron Open House was by gsar the best part of our adventure. Best breakfasts, The staff was extremely helpful and the walking paths were excellent.

Wonderful place to stay in the Chamonix area! Sol and Enrique are the Argentinian stars of the reception and breakfast area. Very good coffee (with oatmilk) and delicious pastry!
