Beautiful hotel and amazing service. The restaurant (bistrot, not the “Table”) is the same quality as its Michelin star sister restaurant but cheaper and more relaxed. Would come again.

What a spectacular property! The property itself was incredibly beautiful and serene. But it was the staff that really made our stay special…nothing was too much effort. They all went above and beyond many times over our 7 day stay. We will be back!!

Good, but not at the price level.

Good hotel, but far from town. Does NOT have a ski room. The walk to the ski lift is quite far after they drop you off in town. Then you have to take 2 ski lifts up. You can’t even ski in after, there’s lots of stairs etc to go back. Its really inconvenient if you plan on skiing a lot. I suggest you stay in Mt Arbois.

Alpaga how did you get a 5 star rating ?

Alpaga is a nice small hotel but does not hit the 5 star rating it has been given in my opinion, It is well out of town and their shuttle system is slow and requires a phone call through a call centre and a redirection. The service made us late a few times during our stray. Our room (62) was very small for a ski trip with a tiny bathroom which had a freezing cold slate floor - freezing in the mornings.

Absolutely wonderful hotel with fantastic service and outstanding food. We have stayed in many good five star hotels around the world but the breakfast here was defintely on our top five of all times. Wonderful hotel, not in the center to be considered too loudly, and not in the far to be considered isolated, 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes by the hotel free shuttle, The hotel staff were helpful and sweetly mannered, had a lovely stayhad a lovely time

Staff wonderfully helpful and friendly, including the general manager, without being intrusive. Constant attention to detail. Wonderful terrace with mountain view for sitting and relaxing. Hot tub with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Outstanding breakfast and snacks put out later. Advice on local walks etc. Shuttle at the ready to take us into town. Recommend most highly!
