"Nice place"

"It is a converted militarily barracks and not a fancy hotel. It is very nice inside and I will stay there again. I used the exercise room which also had the laundry machines. That room was plain, but I was working out and didnt need mirrors and fancy equipment. The breakfast had waffles, toast, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. It was very good and I could choose what I wanted to eat. The staff were very nice to me. "

"This is a great option for independent-minded travelers who want something clean and spacious near the university. There is not much in the way of front desk staff but they communicated smoothly about check in and check out. There is an excellent bakery downstairs on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. Tons of space. There is a bit of street noise as the property is at a busy intersection, so bring your earplugs just in case. Overall, good value."

"I had to find a room fast (11:00 PM) due to my original hotel lost power. It was out of the way and was farther than Google maps indicated, but it worked for over night. Owners were great!"

"We were visiting to move our daughter to UIUC. It was easy to find, check in and check out. Check out was particularly easy and we appreciated that. The dryer didn’t work, but we found a laundromat nearby with ease. "
