"Our stay with several family members ranging from young kids to seniors with walkers worked out great. The first floor bedroom and bathroom worked out great for the eldest and the rest of us had our own rooms and bathroom upstairs. Host was responsive and our stay was comfortable. Would recommend."

Only problem is that it is not handicap accessible. It would be nice if that was listed on the online description. We would highly recommend this house to others."

"Our group of 9 (including 3 children) had a wonderful 3 night stay here during our trip to view the total solar eclipse. The downstairs was spacious and comfortable, and had ample seating for eating, lounging, etc. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and that there were extra supplies (paper towels, tissues, soap, etc) on hand. "The house was immaculate. So clean and cozy. The coffee selection was impressive. We ate at Ashley’s pub about 6 minutes away then ordered pizza from there the next night. We made breakfast both mornings and the kitchen has everything you need. I feel so lucky to have found this place for our family getaway. Would love to visit again in the summer to try out the kayaks. Just book it!!"

"This is an old country home. Not horrible, not ideal, at least for us. I see they've added "rustic" to the description. That's a good word. Pros: Stargazing - pretty dark at night. Beautiful skies. Area - we felt safe. No worries about being there alone at night. Nice area. Wildlife refuge nearby with hiking trails. If you have kids, you should know the house sits close to the road, which has a 45 mph speed limit. Would need to keep an eye on them. Bathroom - Large enough to feel comfortable....
