"Staying at the Royal Rest was like a trip back in time, and we loved it! We drove straight up to our door to unload. Our room was modest, but spot clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were perfect, water was hot and AC was cold. Loved how guests sat out in front of their rooms and actually visited with one another - a lost art! We will stay here again!"

The room itself was spotless and well-appointed, providing everything I needed to rest comfortably between gigs. "The staff was so nice and the patio and game room were awesome. Breakfast was good too. The only problem was a pretty strong smoke smell in the room, but that’s understandable since it used to be a Super 8. Great little hotel in a nice small town!"

"This cabin is breathtaking. The views are a perfect nature stay without having to be “ too far away “ . There’s a beautiful trail that you can walk while there . Words and pictures don’t do this place justice . The host was so sweet . They really took their time with putting this place together . A bonus is that we even had some of the best sour dough bread of our life prepared by the host .For my family : we wanted to find somewhere to stay that wasn’t too far from home , but wasn’t just your average city “hotel “. This place truly feels like a getaway stay - cation . Knoxville is so lucky to have this addition!!! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer . We will be back to create more memories !!:)"
