"One of the major things we look for in a hotel is safety, and we knew that staying on a college campus would be a nice safe place, and it was. We had a great view, the breakfast was definitely above what you usually get - we are vegan and there were actually things we could eat and even oat milk creamer. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was great. Parking was $6/day, which is very reasonable.
The only negatives were one, it was a little hard to figure out how to get to the parking at first, and two, the hallway from the parking lot to the building (which contains the hotel, UMass store, and some other cafes etc.) smelled disgusting, like spoiled yogurt. There wasn't any visible mess, and the second day it smelled a little better, then the third day it had a different terrible smell. Hopefully they get that worked out."
