"Exceptional facility and exceptional staff. The best thing was the staff. Truly gracious and caring...and there were lots of folks steadily "keeping up" on everything. Property owners are not going cheap on labor and must be treating people fairly in order to keep such great people "on board." Never a request that wasn't met with a very gracious "of course." Not an old Hampton Inn, but not a new one for sure. Still, everything is in exceptional condition - save one side door card entry device that causes some inconvenience and a little frustration (since there's no sign or other indication that it won't work). All this effort manages to almost achieve the feel of "new." One of largest and best equipped exercise rooms I've seen in the "moderate price" range. Didn't get in the pool, but it looked well-maintained and welcoming. Great breakfast with long hours (all the way until 10:00 on weekday mornings!) and run by two of the most kind women you could imagine. Can't wait to go back!"

"Everything worked, the lamps, hair dryer, heat/air etc. The bed was the just right height and comfy. I especially appreciated the various safety bars in the bathroom. They were sturdy and in just the right location. This is a no frills room, but has everything you might need."

"This hotel’s a gem for anyone visiting Harper’s Ferry Natl Historic site! Although an older property, updates have made it very comfy. The location’s terrific, rooms are offered a great price. Rooms are spacious, have soft, high-quality sheets and towels, a great TV and larger-than-usual fridge. A full hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, meats) plus several cold choices are complimentary. Very quiet but close to everything in Harpers Ferry, which also has great food. "
