"The overall building exterior was not up to par so when we pulled up we had our doubts about our booking, but the entrance and lobby were very nice and up to date, the desk clerk was friendly, helpful and efficient, our room was very clean and comfortable (great bed) and the bathroom setup was more than acceptable, particularly the shower & the sink setup; the on-site restaurant/lounge was delightful with a great bar-order food menu (spring rolls were delicious and food ordered by others present looked good too), bright and spacious bar and lounge seating (see attached photo), friendly informative barkeeper. The included breakfast was well above average in that pretty restaurant/lounge setting. Even the hallway maze accessing the guestrooms, conference/banquet rooms, lobby, and restaurant/bar was interesting."

"This was the best hotel experience we have ever had. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating without you even having to ask for help. We visited for the first time to celebrate our mini moon a free our wedding and they gave us a free room upgrade to a suite. They also surprised us with a complementary bottle of champagne to our room and they even had complementary transportation available within a 5 mile radius of the resort. The estate is extremely beautiful and it’s even better that this is Black Owned. Highly recommend and worth every penny. "
