Nestled in the very heart of Charleston’s historic district, it offered the quiet grace of a smaller, less crowded refuge, where the pace seemed gentler and the city’s past lingered just beyond the doorstep. Easy parking, a generous complimentary breakfast, evening cookies and milk that recalled simpler times, and a staff whose kindness never felt rehearsed combined to make it, for us, the perfect place from which to experience the enduring spirit of Charleston."
