"We liked being in downtown Charleston and the hotel’s historic charm. The rooms were nice and the hotel offered early check in early which was great. I did not like having a rooftop bar 1/2 block away. We were able to sleep, however you could still hear the music from the 6th floor. I also would have liked for the hotel to have a pool or outdoor area. Regardless, if you’re wanting to stay in the downtown area, it’s a great option, very central and close to restaurants, stores and bars."

That said, our room was very small, and being located directly next to the elevator made it a bit less comfortable than we would have liked.
