Disliked: Listing accuracy
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Shops are within walking distance. However, don’t expect to get much sleep! The construction noise is terrible and at night the road noise is terrible too! It is a beautiful and clean place, but I wouldn’t stay there until the construction is done.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this spacious, sunny and beautiful place! The open floor plan of the living area is perfect. We sat outside on the balcony on a warm evening. It was an ideal place for 8 friends on a weekend away.
Beautiful Property in the Heart of Downtown Charleston
The property is absolutely beautiful and newly renovated. The property is in the heart of downtown and is within easy access of all the major historic destination of downtown Charleston. With a ride share you are easily able to visit all the desired locations of interest.
The apartment is beautiful. It's near some great restaurants (Leon's is awesome) and you can walk to most of King Street. I would have noted the large construction that is going on across the street. There is a lot of noise early in the morning. Everything else was great.
This property is beautiful and well designed for a large group. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The only thing I would say that made the stay less than perfect was the noise and pandemonium from the large construction project directly across the street.
We enjoyed our stay at the Overlook on King. The property itself is in a great location in walking distance to the city, you can tell how new the property is in all the rooms were very, very clean were your basic toiletries in every bathroom. We really liked the layout of all the bedrooms on one floor and the living/kitchen area above. And there’s not really any neighbors to worry about.Property management was great. We had a issue with the code at first, but it was handled immediately and property management answers promptly. Would highly recommend for any groups
Everything about the house was nice. Checking in was apain because the entry code was not updated so we have to call the host to get the correct code for our stay. We know parking in Charleston near King street was going to be a pain, but twice we had to have cars towed from our "assigned" spot. The street noise was pretty bad as well as the noise from the patrons at the bar next door. We stayed on the weekend but I'm pretty sure the construction noise during the week would have been horrible; when we checked out on Monday morning there was a lot of activity that would have been hard to deal with.
