"I've stayed here I think ten-fifteen times over the course of the past two months or so. Every time I arrive back to the room after check-in, I catch myself enthusiastically declaring, "I love this place." It's true; I really do love it. The breakfast is great and while I indulge as something of a glutton (we all sin differently), the selection probably won't bloat you and leave you in despair for the rest of your day. The owner, Reddy, is an exemplary human being whose hospitality knows no bounds. I will return here time and again when I am in the area, even if for nostalgia's sake. Thank you to the team for being amazing and making me feel so welcome. It makes a difference. With gratitude and respect-"

"Nice place to stay—would return! A short drive to Newport, so best for those who are okay with (or prefer) not being right in the middle of everything. The room was clean and comfortable, and there are some cool seating areas outside of the lobby. The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The curb appeal is not great and had us second guessing our booking, but the inside is a completely different story, and I got the impression the exterior is being renovated soon—don't let it scare you off! My only complaint is that the breakfast was subpar for a paid breakfast and the restaurant staff weren't great. The server wasn't very attentive and the staff stood around chatting about their favorite shots and cocktails the whole time we ate. The kitchen staff was playing music loudly that clashed with the music playing through the restaurant speakers. So definitely stay at the hotel but don't do the breakfast package—just go out for breakfast and you'll have a great stay!"

"Untrained staff, yes it’s an old hotel but be wary and don’t talk loud in the hallways. The hotel boasts a bar, but there was an event.. so no one else could get a drink? That doesn’t seem like it would be hard to manage. They bombard you with upgrade offers before you go.. staff isn’t friendly. The hotel is curated well as far as bohemian surf vibe, very clean.. but the senior level staff must know they have you by the b@lls when on Block Island."

"Our room had a funky smell the entire visit. Housekeeping did spray air freshener but it only masked the smell. It seemed to be a plumbing or moisture issue as it was concentrated in our room’s bathroom. Appreciated having complimentary breakfast and the location is close to the aquarium/Old Mystic Village."

"i like the shuttle bus that takes you back and forth to the casino. Very helpful. wish it was more assesible during the weekend days. friday and Saturday though"

"Brilliant hotel, perfect location. Opposite the fab Eastons beach, restaurants within walking distance. Near the cliff walk. Half hour walk to Newport downtown or a 5 min drive. Room was lovely, breakfast was great and the pool was perfect. Cant fault our stay there"
