"We stayed at the Admiral Sims on Catherine St. and it was great! The house and property were beautiful and in a good location. Easy walk to the beach, and a little bit longer into downtown Newport but it is doable. Next time we come back we will definitely be bringing our dog!"

"Our family really enjoyed our stay! Lovely location and close walk to the beach. We enjoyed having the outdoor shower and beach supplies. Caroline was very responsive to any questions we had as well. Would definitely stay here again!! "
"Rooms feel a bit damp even with AC on. Perhaps small dehumidifiers would help.
As for the rooms basic but nice. Small fridge with actual freezer so you can buy ice cream for later. Small ice cream and food place I don't think they have an indoor place but they have picnic tables and umbrellas.
Shower had built in bench great for getting sand from between toes. Staff was wonderful. This was our second year going. Just so you know out of state is only $12 for any of the beaches. If you walk on it's free .
Being a smoker it was nice to have chairs outside each room with a table and ashtray.
All things considered great quiet place to stay.."

"Loved this property! Clean, incredibly spacious, great location. Communication with Robin was fantastic, she went above and beyond during our stay. House is very well stocked. Plenty of bath and beach towels, chairs, umbrellas. Our group agreed the house felt much bigger than it did in photos. The addition over the garage is perfect for some added privacy while not being inaccessible from the rest of the group. Would recommend this place! "

"Beautiful house! It has everything we needed and fit our family perfectly. Has a wonderful, comfortable sectional in the living room and a very nice sized dining room table. Kitchen was great. Deck has great tables and chairs with plenty of shade. The front patio is very nice and a great place to read, have coffee or a cocktail. The bedrooms all have nice queen sized beds. Check-in was a breeze. Kathy and John are such nice hosts and were extremely accommodating. Can’t wait until next year!!"

"The property was outstanding! We had a wonderful time and will be coming back for sure! The house was very clean, bright and beachy! There was plenty of room for all of us, the roll away cot was a bonus! Kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessities, we appreciated the wine glasses! Outside shower and deck was also enjoyed. Walking distance to amazing restaurants and shops, we did drive to the beach, leave early before the lot fills up! At first we were a little uneasy when we arrived and saw the SUV in the driveway then we realized there were tennant's that live downstairs, but after we met the woman we felt much better. There does seem to be a carpenter ant problem, probably want to get that looked into so they don't cause any major damage. Thank so again for everything, it is an outstanding property!!"
